Children from a kindergarten in Donghai County, Lianyungang City, East China's Jiangsu Province, learned how to make engravings on November 17, to celebrate the upcoming World Children's Day which falls on November 20.
As the hometown of the famous engraving master Yan Han, Donghai County has organized local children to learn this craft in the past years and become the hometown of children's engraving in China.
It has nurtured many excellent teen engraving lovers. The county produces more than 100,000 engravings of various types annually, and over 5,000 works have won major international and domestic awards.
